Two New Books Are on the Way!

Two New Books Are on the Way!

I’m excited to share some news about what God has been doing in my writing life.

I recently signed with Abundance Books for two new devotional books, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to begin working on both of these projects.

The first book currently has the working title When Animals Preach and is expected to release in late 2027. This project combines two things I love: discovering spiritual truth in Scripture and paying attention to the lessons God has placed throughout His creation.

From Scripture’s earliest pages, God invites us to observe the natural world. We’re told to consider ants, birds, sheep, lions, sparrows, and other creatures. Jesus Himself frequently pointed to creation when teaching spiritual truths. Animals may not preach with words, but their design, behavior, and instincts can quietly point us toward the wisdom, character, and faithfulness of our Creator.

When Animals Preach will invite readers to slow down and take a closer look. Through real-life encounters, storytelling, and biblical reflection, each devotion will explore a spiritual lesson inspired by the creatures around us. Readers can expect faith lessons drawn from animals, both wild and domestic, practical Scripture-based reflections, and encouragement to notice God at work in His creation. The devotions will be suitable for personal study, group discussion, or sharing as a gift with someone who loves animals and wants to grow closer to God.

I’m especially excited about the opportunity to help readers see familiar creatures in a new way—and perhaps begin noticing some lessons of their own.

A Second Devotional Is Coming, Too

I’ve also signed a second contract with Abundance Books for another devotional project, this one created for believers who are gifted in the area of prophecy.

The gifts of the Spirit can sometimes be misunderstood or even avoided, especially when people have seen them misused. This book will approach the prophetic gift with biblical guidance and practical encouragement for those who may sense God leading them in this area but feel uncertain or timid about stepping forward.

Along with 30 devotions, the book will include helpful tips for understanding, exercising, and properly using the gift of prophecy. My hope is to encourage believers to pursue what God has placed within them while remaining grounded in Scripture and using their gifts in a way that honors Him.

I’d Appreciate Your Prayers

There is still plenty of writing ahead, and I would greatly appreciate your prayers as I work on these manuscripts. My prayer is that both books will encourage believers around the world, help readers grow in their relationship with God, and ultimately point people back to Him. I’m thankful for this opportunity and excited to see where God takes these projects.

Stay tuned! I’ll be sharing more about When Animals Preach, the second devotional, and their journey toward publication as I continue writing.
