Tez’s Weekly Radio Program
Previously, Tez had a weekly radio spot on Christian Mix 106. You can hear some of these in the links below as he challenged believers to courageously reach their spheres of influence by sharing their faith in creative, non-threatening ways.
This 90-second spot focuses on brief, easy ways listeners can connect with relatives, friends, acquaintances, strangers, and others in their community to establish friendships, understand their felt needs, and find opportunities to weave the gospel into conversations in a natural, relational way that promotes ongoing discussions.
Produced by his son Caleb Brooks, this micro-program was called “I Dare Ya!” and was aimed at encouraging believers to conquer their fears when it comes to sharing the gospel with others.
Christian Mix 106 is an internet-based station that can be accessed anywhere. It’s unique as it doesn’t play the same Top 40 Christian hits over and over but covers oldies and lesser-known artists along with the regular hits. They live by Mark 16:15 (“Go ye”) and feature some great podcasts, teaching, and devotionals.

What Folks Are Saying About Tez
In 2022, Christianity.com listed Brooks in “50 Authors You Should Know.” In 2023, he was named one of the Top Writing Coaches by the Coach Foundation.
Tez has an uncanny way of bringing you along on his journeys, relaying a Biblical worldview and how to apply it. Heartwarming… entertaining… enjoyable.
Del Duduit, award-winning Associated Press sportswriter and author of Dugout Devotions
Thanks to Tez Brooks’s new book, you’re about to learn about “adulting.” That’s what we all want to learn to do someday. You know, things like holding a job, paying taxes, and moving out before we turn thirty. His astute and entertaining book will help you start that process early on.
Jay Payleitner, National speaker and best-selling author of “What if God Wrote Your Bucket List”
I have been a dad for almost four decades. Where was Tez’s book back when I was wandering around, mumbling to myself, trying to figure out how to be the best parent I could? Beautifully written and accessible with practical advice, his latest book is for every young adult, parent, and grandparent.
Brian Bird, Executive Producer and Co-Creator “When Calls the Heart” and “A Case for Christ”
Life can be gritty and lovely, alternately. Tez does masterful work weaving his experiences in with Jesus as the uniting thread. His stories will invite you to see God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit in ways that will stick with you past the morning’s coffee. Tez elevates our spiritual insights from pithy writings found etched on coffee mugs to a true heart encounter with the Creator of the universe.
Josh Newell, Executive Director for Jesus Film Project
Tez Brooks draws us in with his down-to-earth, frank, vulnerable, and sometimes-humorous tone. Those of us who know Tez are not surprised his books prompt readers to listen and watch for God in everything, because that’s what he genuinely models as he lives a life marked by integrity.
