Writer’s Coaching and Editing Services
Take your writing to the next level with our editing services or one-on-one writer’s coaching. With over 20 years of experience, Tez (named one of the Top Writing Coaches by the Coach Foundation) offers a variety of editing services and faith-based writer’s coaching to help shorten the learning curve for publishing your articles and manuscripts. How I provide services:
For coaching services, we will always schedule a video meeting using Zoom or Google Meet-Up. This consists of hour-long personalized mentoring sessions to improve your writing and shorten your learning curve in the industry. These sessions are charged hourly and only as you feel you need them. Minimum of two hours required.
For editing services, I will use either a Word document using the Track Changes feature or a shared Google doc to communicate my edits and suggestions. Other than an initial phone call, most of our interactions will be electronic unless a call is needed for longer discussions. Rates differ per service rendered.
NOTE: There is a $25 rescheduling fee for any coaching appointments that are canceled or have to be rescheduled. In the case of a no-call/no-show, that missed appointment cannot be refunded, and a new payment will need to be made in order to reschedule that session.
COACHING DISCOUNTS (cannot be combined):
First-time clients receive a free 1000-word critique to determine what coaching best fits their needs. Includes a 15-minute initial phone consultation.
$25 off first session within 30 days after any writer’s conference we both attend.
$50 off first session for mentors and chapter presidents of Word Weavers Intl.
Coaching Services
Critiquing: professional advice for improving a particular piece ($150 per 2,000 words). Includes a 30-minute video call with you.
Book Proposals: help with creating and polishing your comprehensive document for publishers ($300). Includes two personalized video call coaching sessions.
Ghost Writing: we write the book for you or your client (negotiated fee).

Editing Services
All documents must be submitted double-spaced, with 12 pt font and one-inch margins. Currently accepting only works of 25 pages or more. Fees are decided on after reviewing a sample to determine the author’s skill level. An estimate for the following work is determined depending on services needed.
Proofreading: a last look for missed errors after you have used a professional editor (charged per page).
Copy or Line Editing: grammar and punctuation.
Content or Substantive Editing: help with style, language, readability, flow, and structure.
Developmental or Book Doctoring: improving big picture and story elements after the entire manuscript has been completed.
